Jasper is a stone of the earth, and therefore a very "grounding" stone.  Jasper was once considered a Warriors Stone  A power stone for those who stand for justice and fairness. This delicate bead was made in  Thailand & Kampuchea in the first centuries AD. This craft has been handed down from generation to generation and is still being done by local villagers. Delicate process includes creating beads from a thin strips of pure silver, filling the inside with a tree resin for strength and then engraving and chasing the designs by hand. The beads shapes and designs are influenced by the Thai and Khmer religious, court, and village traditions. They were influenced by the prominent Indian culture of the time.
